Ongoing volunteer needs
Bedside Volunteer
- Need 1 to 2 volunteers M–F from 10am-4pm
This position will assist Home staff with keeping our residents company by sitting with them, reading to them, watching tv with them, playing games with them, etc.
Food Prep Volunteer
- Needed M–F for lunch and/or dinner
The Home provides residents with three healthy and well-balanced meals a day. We are always looking for volunteers who would like to come to the Home and prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner to our residents.
Reception Volunteer
- Need 1 to 2 weekend volunteers from 10am-2pm
This position will assist Home staff with answering phones, greeting and directing guests, and various other administrative tasks.
Periodic volunteer needs
Activity Volunteer
The Home is always looking for volunteers willing to share their time and talents by planning or assisting with activities at the Home. This could include:
- Reading to residents
- Helping with arts and crafts projects
- Providing musical entertainment
- Any other special activity that you would like to bring to the residents!
Special Events Volunteer
Going hand in hand with the Activity Volunteer, the Special Events Volunteer assists with any activity or event going on in the Home. Sometimes we just need extra hands to ensure a project can be successful.
This may include assisting with an arts and craft day or helping out at an open house.
