2017 Beach Ball

Early returns from the 14th Annual Beach Ball for Morning Light’s Abbie Hunt Bryce Home are encouraging!

For the third time in the last four years, gross proceeds topped the $55,000 mark at the February 25th event. This total is just shy of an amount roughly equal to two months of operating cost!

The Beach Ball, held at the Biltwell Event Center and catered by the Jazz Kitchen, drew almost 200 guests who supported the Home’s unique mission of providing free living accommodations for hospice patients. Grace Trahan-Rodecap hosted the event, supported by Dean Metcalf, the Executive Producer of the Bob and Tom Show. His band, The Tempos, provided lively music which had everyone in a festive mood.

Auction items included local attractions and a Cuba Cruise. Dave Anderson of Leadstra coordinated several video presentations which told the story of the Home, which has served more than 400 Hoosiers since its 2004 opening. Look for pictures and more news in the days to come!
