This week we were proud to celebrate a special milestone at Morning Light and our newly named Morning Light Home: the unveiling of our new exterior sign on Pennwood Drive.
Morning Light Board Chair Laura Roman cut the ribbon, with food generously donated by our friends at Elevate Hospice and beautiful Moms plants donated by our dedicated volunteer, Libby. We were also delighted to welcome major donors and board members who joined us to mark this moment of honoring the past and embracing the future.
Since opening our doors in 2004, the Home has provided a safe and loving place for more than 1,000 residents in their final chapter of life—always at no cost. Over the years, we’ve made more than 200,000 free meals, welcomed countless volunteers, and given families the chance to simply be families again, free from the financial and emotional strain of caregiving alone.
Our name and logo may have changed, but our mission remains the same: to provide compassion, dignity, and care for those in greatest need. With your support, we will continue to be family for those who have none—today, tomorrow.
