Our residents are counting on you. Give today to provide the comfort, dignity, and end-of-life care they deserve in their final days.
This June, Morning Light was honored to be named one of just five finalists for the 2026 Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis Change Maker Grant.

Representing Morning Light, Executive Director Madison Wood-Gonzalez took the stage to share the heart of our mission. Her speech challenged the audience to imagine receiving a terminal diagnosis while having nowhere safe to go. She shared the stories of residents like Zach and Maya, whose lives were transformed not simply by receiving care, but by finding a home where they were known, valued, and reminded that they mattered.
While Morning Light was not selected as this year’s Change Maker, we were deeply honored to receive a finalist grant and to stand alongside four extraordinary nonprofit organizations serving Central Indiana. More importantly, we were grateful for the opportunity to share the stories of the individuals we are privileged to serve and to introduce new supporters to Morning Light’s mission.
Our sincere thanks to the incredible women of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis. Through the power of collective giving, they continue to strengthen nonprofits across our community and invest in organizations creating lasting change.
We invite you to watch Madison’s speech on the video above. We hope her words offer a glimpse into why Morning Light exists and why every person deserves a safe and loving place to call home during life’s final chapter.
