Morning Light Home: Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future
Morning Light has respectfully changed the name of our home from The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home to The Morning Light Home. This change reduces confusion and streamlines our branding for the next twenty years.
Morning Light has respectfully changed the name of our home from The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home to The Morning Light Home. This change reduces confusion and streamlines our branding for the next twenty years.

The Home first opened its doors in July 2004, founded by compassionate Indianapolis citizens who recognized the need for a home for individuals on hospice who were unhoused, of limited means, or were alone in their diagnosis. From the beginning, the mission was clear: to provide a safe, dignified, and loving place for those with nowhere else to go at the end of life.
Sometimes something as simple as an address can be a barrier to receiving hospice care; Morning Light changes that for our residents.
The Home was never a medical facility, a nursing home, or a hospice center. It has always been something more precious — a true home. A place where individuals facing a terminal diagnosis can spend their last chapter with respect, comfort, and friendship.
