Light the Way: A Gathering of Remembrance
As dusk settles over the Morning Light Home, we invite families, friends, and supporters to join us for a meaningful evening of reflection and remembrance.
The gathering will begin at sundown, with light refreshments and as the evening darkens, we will move outdoors to the Memorial Pyramids, where a light will have been placed in front of every brick engraved with a former resident’s name.
In this gentle glow, we will read aloud the names of all those who have passed within the past year, honoring each life we had the privilege to serve. It is a sacred moment to pause, reflect, and remember not only those from this past twelve months, but all who have called Morning Light their home over the past twenty-one years.
This is a gathering especially for families to return to the place their loved one lived out their final days, for staff and volunteers to honor the mission we carry forward, and for our community to stand together in gratitude for those lives that have touched ours.
Our Legacy Event is welcome to all who have shared in the Morning Light journey, residents’ families, friends, and supporters, as we gather in remembrance of those whose memory we will forever have the honor to home.
