Calling All Volunteers!

Do you believe everyone deserves care and dignity at the end of life? Are you looking for a meaningful way to serve your community?

We are so excited to announce we are re-opening the doors to volunteers at the Abbie Hunt Bryce Home! Our Home could really use your help and here's how:

1. Cooking/Serving Meals
Did you know we prepare and serve three home cooked meals a day to our hospice residents? If you believe the kitchen is the heart of the home and want to help provide comfort and care through good food - come to the Home to help us cook and serve lunch or dinner! (Lunch is every day at Noon and Dinner is around 6:00pm.)

2. Greeting
The Home prides itself on our friendly, family-type atmosphere. We could really use someone with great social skills to provide that extra touch of hospitality by greeting our guests at the front door and answering the phones during the busiest time of the day - 11am-2pm.

3. Bring A Meal
We also would be so grateful for the donation of fresh or frozen meals. We understand some of you may be more comfortable preparing a meal at your home and dropping it off to our Home. Having food prepared is such a help to our staff and such a gift to our residents. The donation of a meal is also tax-deductible!

To ensure the safety of our residents, all of our volunteers must have a TB test and undergo a background check. If any of these roles sounds appealing to you, please e-mail to learn more!

Most sincerely,

Madison Gonzalez
Advancement Director

P.S. In addition to time, our Home could always use financial support from the community - we are proud to say we never charge our hospice patients for the accommodations and care they receive from us!

I want to give!
