A Spooktacular Success: Bingo + Boos Brings Fun, Prizes, and Community Spirit
The very first Bingo + Boos event was a spooktacular success! Held this year at Sun King Brewery.
The very first Bingo + Boos event was a spooktacular success! On a crisp October evening in Fishers, ghosts, ghouls, and good-hearted neighbors gathered for a night of laughter, games, and community at Morning Light’s inaugural Halloween-themed fundraiser. Held this year at Sun King Brewery.
From dinosaurs and witches to 101 Dalmatians, Roblox characters, walking bananas, and even Cleopatra herself, the costumes were as creative as they were frightfully fun. Our own resident, Doug, made quite the impression as a wizard.

But beneath all the spooky decorations and laughter was a meaningful purpose. Morning Light relies entirely on community support, through donations, grants, and events like Bingo + Boos. We receive no federal funding, so every dollar raised goes directly toward continuing our mission: providing free housing, 24/7 care, and home comforts to neighbors facing terminal illness and end-of-life challenges.
Beautiful evenings like Bingo + Boos make that mission possible. They also bring people together, new faces and familiar friends alike, united by a shared belief that everyone deserves compassion and dignity in their final days.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a series of lively bingo rounds, delicious refreshments, and plenty of chances to win prizes of all kinds. Morning Light’s Zachary Alexander organized the event and ran the games, and everywhere you looked, people were smiling, connecting, and making some fang’tastic memories. All in support of a cause that truly matters.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors, our incredible volunteers, and every single person who joined us for this first-time event. Your support helps ensure that Morning Light can continue to open its doors to those who need care and companionship most.
If you missed out this year, don’t worry — Bingo + Boos will be back next October! Until then, you can continue supporting Morning Light through other events as our annual Indy Gives campaign is coming up this December!
Because when our community comes together, whether in costume or not, there’s no limit to the good we can do.
